Research and innovation
SABATIA TVC prospers to grow and cultivate a spontaneous research culture that enriches the academic expertise for our trainees. Within the context of SABATIA TVC, therefore, research and innovations necessitate multi-level, multi-disciplinary approaches that support the exploration of new ways and methodology.
It aims at ensuring that the entire research and innovation process is pursued with high integrity and puts emphasis on provision of research opportunities, quality and ethics in research and innovation, intellectual property rights, efficiency and effectiveness in coordination and management of research and innovation at the Institute. The overall objective of the Research and Innovations section is to strengthen research capacity and output, increase the contribution of the institute to the world of knowledge, innovation and extension products.
The Research, Innovation and Development Office shall:
Carry out annual research on existing programs and services and advise on areas of
improvement.
Coordinate trainers and trainees’ participation in innovation workshops, exhibitions,
conferences and seminars.
Encourage, promote and coordinate research projects and commercialize them.
Applications for funding from the research donors and other stakeholders.
Disseminate and maintain research information to the institute.
